Hershey - Trolley Adventure Tour

Chocolate World, Hershey

From Memorial Day through Labor Day, the Hershey Trolley Works presents the Trolley Adventure Tour, an interactive trip through the town of Hershey on an old-fashioned trolley car. Actors recreate the life of Milton Hershey, allowing riders to see the town and meet some of the most interesting influential figures in Hershey's history. The adventure lasts 45 minutes and chocolate is provided.

Shows begin and end at Hershey's Chocolate World, from 9:45 AM through 7:45 PM. Trolley Adventure tickets can be purchased on the day of the tour at the trolley counter in Chocolate World. Departure times vary, but more than 35 tours are given per day. Tickets are $12.95 for adults and $5.95 for children under 13. For more information, visit:

In the early twentieth-century, many birds of prey were being exterminated as vermin. Pennsylvania's Hawk Mountain became the center of a movement to protect America's raptors, and sites were established throughout the state as lookouts to view and monitor the hawk population. Waggoner's Gap quickly became the most popular lookout in the midstate area, and is still a great place for nature lovers and birders to view Pennsylvania's wildlife. Waggoner's Gap is located on the spine of Blue Mountain, just outside of Carlisle. The Audubon Society has established a HawkWatch lookout ideal for spotting birds from both sides of the mountain. Be on the lookout for hawks, kestrels, bald eagles and peregrine falcons, and consider doing an official count for the HawkWatch records.
