1713 MARKET ST., CAMP HILL
The Pennsylvania Bakery in Camp Hill has produced traditional favorites and unique creations for over 25 years. The bakery was founded in 1986 by Ken and Michelle Schenk, and remains owned and operated by the couple and their three daughters. “At the Pennsylvania Bakery we provide a full line bakery with a product line ranging from all-occasion cakes and wedding cakes, fresh fruit delicacies, cheesecakes, tortes, pies, pastries, cupcakes, breakfast items, breads, and cookies,” explained Rachelle Schenk. “We strive to offer as much quality and variety as possible to satisfy even the choosiest appetite. All our products are made from scratch and on the premises, using only the finest ingredients.”
Gift options from the Pennsylvania Bakery include cookie trays, gourmet cupcakes, loaves of the bakery’s famous Spaghetti Bread and gift baskets such as the “Taste of Pennsylvania” assortment, which features many of the region’s signature treats. The Schenks also produce a wide variety of seasonal and holiday treats, such as stollen, nut rolls and gingerbread houses.
The Pennsylvania Bakery contributes to many local charities and community organizations, including daily donations to local hunger relief missions. “We support many local charities, organizations, fundraising events, churches, sports teams, and clubs and at the end of each day unsold bread and pastries are donated to local missions and hunger relief agencies,” said Schenk. “We also regularly donate our products and gift certificates to benefit a wide range of charitable organizations and causes. As a company we are fully committed to sharing our blessings and giving back to our community.”
