5951 LINGLESTOWN ROAD, LINGLESTOWN
Everyday, the air around Linglestown Square is filled with the aroma of one of St. Thomas Roasters’ signature blends being prepared in their “not-to-be-missed” Deidrich roaster. Boasting over 20 types of coffee, including Guatemala Antigua, Dark Chocolate Dust and their trademark Lingslestown Blend, St. Thomas Roasters is a unique local business and meeting place for the Harrisburg community. Owners Geof and Pam Smith opened St. Thomas Roasters in May of 2000, leaving the corporate world behind to create a local cafe with a warm and inviting atmosphere. “We wanted to bring something to the community that was missing,” said the Smiths. “We’ve had a lifelong commitment to quality and service, and St. Thomas Roasters was created to bring those ideals and our freshly roasted coffee to Historic Linglestown.” St. Thomas Roasters offers both indoor and outdoor seating, live music, freshly prepared food and their wide variety of in-house roasted coffees. “We have established a reputation for freshness and consistency among coffee aficionados in the Harrisburg area,” said the Smiths.
As part of their commitment to their local communities, St. Thomas Roasters works with many charities and non-profits, including annual donations to the Four Diamonds miniTHON at Central Dauphin High School and the Relay for Life at Susquehanna Township High School. St. Thomas Roasters also provides fundraising opportunities with their coffees, allowing organizations to raise money by selling a truly local product. But while St. Thomas’ coffees make for great fundraisers and gifts, a coffee at St. Thomas Roasters is a sensory experience that is best in person. “Our passion for coffee,” explained the Smiths, “as well as the unique setting and atmosphere can only be experienced by dropping by for a visit.” St. Thomas Roasters is online at SaintThomasRoaster.com.
