Living History at the National Civil War Museum

 

National Civil War Museum, Harrisburg

The National Civil War Museum has announced their living history schedule for the spring and summer season. Beginning April 13 with the Palmetto Guard and Pennsylvania Bucktails and ending September 29 with the 7th Tennessee Co. A, the museum will host a different Confederate or Union camp almost every weekend. Civil War re-enactors from as far as Georgia will be making their way north to Harrisburg to set up camp. Visitors will be able to tour the camps and see what life was like for soldiers during the Civil War. The program will include dismounted cavalry, infantry units, and loading and firing demonstrations. Saturday demonstrations will be held at 11 AM, 1 PM and 3 PM and Sunday demonstrations at 1 PM and 3 PM. September 28-29: 7th Tennessee Co. A
