On Saturday, July 13, 2013, the Hershey Gardens held their annual Butterfly Festival on the grounds of the gardens and in their very own Butterfly House. Guests were able to join some of the staff at the Hershey Gardens for a morning of games, crafts, shows and more. Guests learned about the butterfly lifecycles and were able to see them firsthand in the Butterfly House, where more than 300 butterflies have been collected.
Hershey Gardens covers 23 acres of land that overlooks the town of Hershey and is full of botanical beauty that visitors are able to enjoy. Hershey Gardens is open from spring through fall and is located at 170 Hotel Road in Hershey. For additional information, visit HersheyGardens.org.
