Every Sunday from June through October, the Union Canal Tunnel Park will offer boat rides from 12:30—4:30 p.m. Weather permitting, guests will be able to enjoy a relaxing ride down the canal that has played a part in American history for centuries. It was first surveyed in 1762, and visited by President George Washington in 1793, and since then, the canal has been through the largest canal lottery in the nation’s history and a number of different engineers throughout the years working on it. The park is open year-round from dawn to dusk and is currently owned and maintained by the Lebanon County Historical Society.
Tickets for the Union Canal Tunnel boat rides are $6 for adults, $3 for children, 6 and under are free. The park is located at 25th and Union Canal Drive in Lebanon.
