From July 18—21, and 25—28, 2013, Meredith Wilson’s The Music Man will be onstage at the Hershey Area Playhouse. The Music Man is a lively musical featuring con artist, Harold Hill, who tries to use a boy’s marching band to scam an entire Midwestern town. But, a crafty librarian sees through his scheme and ends up teaching Hill a little something about compassion and love. Some of the favorite songs that will be performed in the musical are “76 Trombones,” “(Ya’ Got) Trouble,” “Good Night, My Someone,” and “‘Till There Was You.”
Shows Thursdays through Saturdays begin at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday matinees start at 2 p.m. Tickets are $23 for teens and adults and $20 for kids under 12. The Playhouse is located at 830 Cherry Drive in Hershey.
