From Wednesday, August 14 to Saturday, August 17, 2013, beginning at 9 a.m., the Lancaster Mennonite Historical Society will host the Bookworm Frollic, a community event that has been around for over 30 years where people can go through over 40,000 used books, magazines, and music for sale. The sale will be held outside the historical society, and with each passing day, the prices will decrease. Some of the used books categories that will be available are religion, psychology, health, textbooks, travel, natural sciences, how-to books, history, music, crafts, classic literature, children and teenager, fiction, biography, sports, foreign languages, and family. Local food will be available, and there will also be new books inside the bookstore that will also be discounted.
All proceeds benefit the Lancaster Mennonite Historical Society, which is located at 2215 Millstream Road in Lancaster.
