On Saturday, August 31, the newly renamed Kipona Wine, Art and Blues festival opens 12—9 p.m, and continues through Sunday, Sept. 1, Noon—9 p.m., and Monday, Sept. 2, Noon—7 p.m. Kipona is held in downtown Harrisburg, along Riverfront Park and on City Island, showcasing the Susquehanna River.
The festival features live music performances, food, rides, games, boat racing, and more. The weekend will also includes the annual Keystone Acquatic Club Regional Chili Cook-off, a Native American Pow-Wow, “Breath of Nature” Karate Tournament and Bassmasters Fishing Tournament. New this year will be the Wine Village, New Jersey Outlaws Motor Boat Racing and the Harrisburg Healthy Café.
