On September 7 and 8, 2013, from 4—9 p.m. both days, Dauphin County will hold its annual Jazz and Wine Festival at Fort Hunter Park. The gates will open at 3 p.m. Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and picnic baskets to make their day of music and wine more enjoyable. The two-day festival will offer arts and crafts vendors, great wines, delicious foods, and talented musicians. Some of the performers include Matt Marshak, Octagon Jazz Band, Steve Rudolph and the Dauphin County All-Stars Jazz Band, Marcus Johnson, and Central Pennsylvania Friends of Jazz Youth Band. Participating wineries of the festival are Armstrong Valley Winery, Buddy Boy Winery and Vineyards, Cassel Vineyards of Hershey, Moon Dancer Vineyards and Winery, Naylor Wine Cellars and many more.
Fort Hunter Park is located at 5300 North Front Street in Harrisburg. Tickets are $25 in advance and $30 at the gate.
