Hershey Volunteer Fire Company Station Expansion

Work is well underway to renovate and expand the Hershey Volunteer Fire Company station. Thanks to the generosity of individuals, businesses, and government funding, the fire company is getting closer to achieving its fundraising goal.  The Fire Company still needs to raise $1.4 million to complete its capital campaign and stay on schedule to reopen its doors in early 2016. Donations of any amount are gratefully accepted and may be paid over a five year period.

Downtown Harrisburg Bike Library Makes Debut

Full-Tuition Scholarships For Fall 2016 Offered at Harrisburg University

Harrisburg University of Science and Technology in Pennsylvania has announced its named full-tuition scholarships for high school graduates seeking to enroll full-time for Fall 2016. In addition to the named scholarships below, the private, non-profit, university awards additional scholarships on this straightforward basis: $20,000 for a 3.8 high school GPA, $10,000 for a 3.3 GPA, $8,000 for a 3.0 GPA, and $6,000 for a 2.7 GPA.
