Harrisburg Mayor Eric Papenfuse Officiates at Millworks Grand Opening

Every item on the menu – other than the olive oil and spices the food is cooked in – will be from Pennsylvania and prepared fresh on site, highlighting its rich menu of locally sustainable or organic food and ingredients.
The first of its kind in the region, this premier arts, culture, and food destination restores a long abandoned building as well as brings close to 100 jobs to the city. This significant project contributes to the ongoing development and revitalization of PA’s capital city.
The transformed space includes 23 artists studios where 35 artists are working, three galleries, an open-air biergarten that seats 70, a full service bar, live music, and a 150-seat restaurant.
The Millworks will be open Monday through Thursday 4:00pm – 12 :00am; Friday 4:00pm – 1:00am; Saturday 10:00am – 1:00am; and Sunday 10:00am – 10:00pm, serving brunch on both Saturdays and Sundays.
Mission: To create a regional destination that showcases Central Pennsylvania’s wonderful artistic talents as well as the region’s bountiful, sustainable agriculture. With our ‘hyper local’ approach, we look forward to being part of Midtown Harrisburg’s renaissance, supporting local growers, local artists, and local businesses.
