From Friday, June 13 to Sunday, June 15, 2014, The Elegance at Hershey will feature its annual charity event, showcasing the finest antique cars to raise awareness and funds to support the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, the Antique Auto Museum and the Antique Auto Museum Library and Research Center. From race cars to street cars, there will be show quality collector cars of pre-World War II and the immediate post-World War II period on display, car races, food and vendors, a 5K race and cocktail party throughout the weekend.

Avenged Sevenfold, HELLYEAH, and Adrenaline Mob at the Giant Center in Hershey

On Thursday May 8, 2014, a huge crowd formed outside of Hershey’s Giant Center all waiting for one beloved band, Avenged Sevenfold. The metalcore rock band is best known for their elaborate stages, dramatic album imagery and on stage fire theatrics. Avenged Sevenfold, also known as 7AX, is currently on tour for their latest album Hail to the King.

Adrenaline Mob was the first act to grace the stage and it was a huge crowd pleaser with their modest yet powerful stage presence. The metal super-group consists of members from Symphony X and Dream Theatre.

Brewin up a Cure! at the Vineyard at Hershey

On Sunday, April 13, 2014, a local American Cancer Society’s Relay For Life Team held Brewin’ up a Cure! at the Vineyard and Brewery at Hershey. The event was centered around guests getting to sample many different homebrews and vote for their favorite at this first ever Homebrewfest and Competition. The local Americana Blues-Punk band JT and The Mild Heat performed before the winners were announced at the end of the event. Proceeds raised that the event benefited the American Cancer Society.

Antique Auto Museum Wedding Show

On Sunday, February 23, 2014, the Antique Auto Museum in Hershey will be featuring the museum’s annual wedding show. From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. for VIP guests, and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. for regular admission, guests will be able to visit dozens of Central Pennsylvania vendors that will be eager to help with the details of brides’ special days, from caterers to photographers, bridal attire, cakes and more. The Wedding Show will also be holding its most famous event, the cake dive. Brides-to-be will all get to dig through a large cake in hopes to be the lucky winner of the prize inside. Brides are also encouraged to attend the bridal gown fashion show, presented by Taylored for You Bridal, where some of the season’s best dresses will be modeled.
